@Norsmith - @Ajishlal is correct. The NSM Advanced subscription provides analytics for up to 30 days of data. Of course, you might want to factor in the approximately US $450 MSRP for a one year subscription for your TZ270.

@Zyxian no one is ever going to fix this. There isn't sufficient client/partner engagement to warrant the expense of re-coding this abomination. Apparently they thought it would be useful; however, no one properly reviewed it for feedback during design/development.

When you go to Network then Interfaces, what Zone have your established for those X3 to X7 ports? If none of them are LAN, then your DHCP server will not recognize them. Similarly, you could set them to NativeBridge mode and it will automatically assign them to X0.

I don't use this product, but I'm familiar with SentinelOne installations from my MSSP. I don't believe the exe created by Capture Client supports parameters. According to the Getting Started Guide (https://www.sonicwall.com/techdocs/pdf/capture_client-getting_started.pdf) the msi requires the TenantID. What else would you…

@DaveBWist -Yyes, the TZ350 does support this feature: Taken from a device running current firmware: 6.5.4.12-101n

@bpohlman - the latest version is 6.5.4.12-101n. You can go to your client's (tenant's) page in MySonicWall and download it. The procedure is described here: https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/how-can-i-upgrade-sonicos-firmware/170504337655458/#Resolution2 Schedule the downtime with your client. The entire…

@jacobp - yes, yes, and no. It really is that simple. If these devices were replaced with new ones using the Secure Upgrade program keep in mind they cannot be resold because they cannot be re-activated.

SonicWall, over the past few years, has pretty much formulated the following guideline: You should run the most current version of your firmware for each device you own. You can see your devices and the firmware versions (installed / available) on MySonicWall.

@Arkwright - must be the CSRs I work with, but in many instances over the past year as I've migrated to Gen 7 devices, the one guaranteed statement I've heard to fix my reported problems is to flash the device. And I am NOT using the Migration Utility. I'm rebuilding from scratch in all cases. Now this could mean I have…

Maybe in the far distant future of 3.7.5 (but somehow I doubt it). Every change that is requested for NSM requires someone to indicate how many people will use the feature/function and how much money SonicWall will derive from having it and how much it will cost to include it. While I am almost certain if they created the…

@SOILL_IT - in short, the answer is "no." Here's the doc center page on this process: The entire premise of NSM is that you will use the cloud-based manager to change your fleet of firewalls. This assumes you have a large fleet and that you do not modify the device directly (locally). The sync is only required if you feel…

@Ajishlal - and that is why I have begun and will continue to deploy another vendor's Wi-Fi solution.

@Arkwright - the real "problem" is that the resulting zipped file contains not only the WRI document, but also a "profile.enc" file and the SonicWave's EXP file. That's the reason it is zipped. If "download TSR" meant download only the TSR file, I would never have brought this up. However, on my production machine I do not…

One year later and, once again, I am faced with this recurring problem. @Community Manager is there some way you can find out the status of that RFE? Thanks!

It is July 3, 2023, and I discovered (quite by accident) from the WNM Dashboard that one of my client's mesh SonicWave's is offline, and has been for the past two days. SonicWall's requirement - what I consider a security flaw - to establish a Twilio (third-party) account to receive SMS notification still exists. The…
