@Tytec, Yes, they are 5G ports but are backward compatible with 1G optic cable. Thanks!
-
@Tytec, They should be backward compatible. Kindly check this KB for those details. Please a took at the compatible modules from this KB below. Thanks!

@Mezta1988, Welcome to the SonicWall community. Along with the Whatsapp application, could you also make sure that the encrypted Key Exchange is kept turned OFF under App Control? This is a generic signature and might be blocking communication. Thanks!

@Al_Rex, My bad. I agree with @Ajishlal . That command should work.
-
@Al_Rex , Welcome to the SonicWall community. You can easily find this detail in the TSR of the firewall. Please search for "SFP Identification Dump". It should show the vendor name, vendor OUI, module serial number, etc. Thanks!

Hello @CGracheff, Welcome to the SonicWall Community. I tested this on the firmware 7.0.1-R1262 and could enable it with no issues. Could you please upgrade to this version and then test it again? Thanks!

@mloraditch, I see a reported issue with issue ID: NSM-7148 for this problem. Currently, only .pfx and .zip formats are being allowed. So, you can put the .cer file in a folder and zip it and you should be able to import the certificate. If you need further help, I suggest you reach out to Support and have it added to this…

@BWC, I see that this was reported in 2016 under Issue ID: 153146. This was addressed on firmware 6.2.4.3, so it should be included in 6.5.4.7. I couldn't find more details, but it would be best to have support take a look at the packet captures/flow for further analysis. Thanks!

@Naga, The maximum GVC clients that this firewall model can support is 12, but you are currently licensed for just 2. Please reach out to our CS team for more licenses or you can also purchase them from mysonicwall.com Thanks!

Glad that things are working now. Have a good one!

@EF999, No, that should be all. I have access rules from VPN to LAN specifically for management. Source: Any Destination: All X0 management IP Service: HTTPS management Action: Allow But this is the solution if packets are being dropped as policy drop. But, that is not the case for you. Since you already have a support…

@Hestronicbv, Yes, this is not a supported mode for WAN Interface. You can refer to page 258 in the guide below. There are some new additions like PPPoE and TAP mode for NSv on the 7.0.1 release, but I don't think the transparent mode is supported even on the latest one. It would be best to reach out to Sales and file an…

@khalid, Welcome to the SonicWall Community. To figure out what needs to be allowed, we would need more details like, how things are configured and if you are seeing the firewall blocking the traffic using packet monitor? If yes, what is the reason for those drops. Thanks!
-
@EF999, I tested this on the latest 7.0.1-R1262 and it seems to be working as expected. Are you also on the same firmware? Thanks!
-
@Hestronicbv, The modes supported for WAN Interface on an NSv are static, DHCP, and wire mode. Could you please send us a screenshot of the configuration done on NSA 3600, just to confirm? Thanks!
