@arevalo, Welcome to the SonicWall Community. Could you please check if App control is in use? If yes, could you please disable it and test it once again? Thanks!

@gtech, I think this Kb should be helpful. How many devices will be connected to the internal network? And are you going to use public or private addresses on those devices? Thanks!

Hello @oguzturkan, Welcome to the SonicWall Community. The device is in safe mode when the wrench/test light is blinking amber. Also, the default X0 IP is 192.168.168.168. The default credentials are admin/password. Please use this KB article to help you through the process. Thanks!

@Yuber_Sierra, Have you mentioned the On-Prem Analytics IP address under MANAGE | AppFlow Settings | GMS Flow server? I tried this on my test firewall and can see the firewall generating traffic using X0 IP. You can refer to this KB for more details. Thanks!

@GG__2, I do not see anything such reported on our end, but this issue definitely needs more analysis based on GVC logs, firewall GUI logs and TSR and it would best to take help from support. Meanwhile, could you please test with SonicWall Mobile Connect that uses SSLVPN to make sure that the end user can still connect…

@Bert, On the firewall, we check for the URL you are accessing and have options to block, allow, apply BWM, show a confirm or passphrase page. I would like to understand what you are expecting the SonicWall to perform? Could you please elaborate if something does not work as expected when the user is behind the firewall…

@Ninja, There is limited memory on the firewall itself to store logs, hence it is best to have a syslog server or Analytics to send those logs to. Once that buffer is full, new logs are stored deleting the older ones. So, are you seeing those missing logs on the firewall or any of these monitoring tools? The auditing logs…

@ConnectIT, If the WAN link itself is going down, you should see some alert logs like 1) Network Alert Interface X1 Link Is Down 2) Network Alert WLB Resource failed Please make sure that the Failover and LB is turned ON under Network. Also, you can have someone run continuous pings to the firewall internal IP and 8.8.8.8…

@Yuber_Sierra, I would suggest you to modify the syslogs that you are sending to the On-prem Analytics from the firewall. You can change that from MANAGE | Log Settings | Base Setup Also, we have a template called Analyzer that can be imported to enable the logs necessary for such deployments. I hope this helps! Thanks!

@TomChou, Are these firewalls added to CSC? Also, please check if zero touch is enabled from the diag page of the firewall. I think turning that off, should remove this entry. Thanks!

@MattHelm, For the SonicPoints to be provisioned, they need to be connected to an interface in the WLAN zone on the firewall. I hope that is the case. Please take a look at this KB for more details. Thanks!

@Nobug, As of now, schedules are not one of the parameters based on which routing decisions can be taken. You can reach out to your Sales representative and suggest this as an RFE (Request for feature enhancement). Thanks!

Yes, please leave that on None.

@Wayne_OSS , If the website is youtube.com, then it would be best to use CFS. It can resolve to a huge number of IP addresses and using the FQDN address object might not be that helpful. You can use the source address field in the CFS policy to apply this policy to a single IP address. Please make sure that the priority of…

Hello @Wayne_OSS, If you want to block only one website for a single IP address, kindly create an address object of type FQDN and add the website as the destination. The match objects are used in App rules and not access rules. Otherwise, you can also create a separate CFS policy for this single IP address and add the…
