No error. I haven't attemtped it yet. Since we just have the production unit, no testing unit, I wanted to confirm this would work while putting the plan together.

Do you see any reason we couldn't enable MAC filtering while doing PEAP? I don't have a way to test unfortunately but I suspect simply enabling MAC filtering on the VAP, I can still enable WPA2-EAP correct?

I made a mistake. It is actually one group that the two VAPs are included in. The interface was a bit confusing. It lists the two VAPs under "Virtual Access Points" and again under the "Virtual Access Point Groups". So I'll assume that regardless where settings are changed, they are applied on the same object so to speak.

I see several profiles at MANAGE | Access Points | Base Settings | SonicWave Provisioning Profiles tab. I guess I'm confused seeing how settings would need applied to each profile rather than one "global" setting.

I feel I should them as they are. I'm just confused on where to make the changes in settings. On the group or the VAP itself since they both offer the same setting options it appears. I don't know what the behavior is. If I make a change on the group does it propogate to the VAP and vice versa? I assume the changes to the…

Thank you for your reply, I think this is starting to make sense. To be sure I understand, whatever address/subnet mask you assign to an interface, we're defining that subnet to that interface. SonicOS will then accept any Ip address, in said subnet via that interface. If I have an inbound NAT rule with the public Ip in…

Getting back to this we can subnet our Ip space so our two upstream providers gateways will be on seperate networks. We have HA Active/Standby currently. We're trying to get redundancy using the 2 gateways the upstream provider has given, each having a seperate Ip address, so 2 provider gateways on seperate networks in the…

Getting back to this project, we have two default entries for X4 interface. I'll be changing the subnet mask during this switch. I'll assume that once I make the change on the X4 interface in Network-->Interfaces, then the X4 IP and X4 Subnet default address object entries will change automatically? Secondly, it's possible…

If I need to create a specific 1:1 NAT rule, do I just edit the automatically created NAT rule or do I create a separate rule and give it higher priority? I know it's a simple question but trying to get a firm grasp on how SonicOS works.
-
@BWC That is exactly what led me to ask the question. I wanted to know what gets added to this group since it appeared to be auto generated. Thank you.

@fmadia It looks like we have a whole /28 subnet we can use. I can subnet this to a /29. I guess the question now is if I subnet, which solution would be easier to implement. Your latest suggestion or the original suggestion from earlier in this thread?

After speaking with another gentleman via email, this will not work for me unfortunately since both our gateway Ips are on the same subnet. I'm checking now if we have access to the whole subnet, which I doubt, but then I could subnet the block but outside of that, I'm at a loss how to make this work. Any other suggestions?

Per the image I posted above, current firmware is 6.5.4.5. Like I mentioned earlier, logs show only the changes we've made but nothing with the mentioned areas in this thread.

Enable management using GMS is not checked.

All clients were affected. Started Last Friday. The log on the sonicwall shows none of these settings were changed until I made the change to un-check the youtube restricted mode. Per the attached image, I un-checked the Youtube restrict mode box and immediately all clients could watch youtube.
