Hi,
Currently I am facing a weird issue.
my WNM configured with multiple SSID policy and its connected with 4 AP's. recently one of the AP (Sonicwave 641)showing weird issue that, suddenly all the clients are get disconnect from the AP and all configured SSID will show invalid password indication but remaining AP units are working fine. Once I reboot the unit it will start work as normal.
Did anyone face the above issue?

Once it reboot the AP, it will work as normal.
@Community Manager
Can you help me to reach the above issue to the concern team?
Hi @Ajishlal,
We can help. Is there a case number associated with this issue? If not, please reach out to our support team via https://www.sonicwall.com/support/contact-support/.
@Community Manager @Ateef @JamsheerVP
The unit we took it as Demo and it was under testing so I am not able to create the support ticket and today i returned the unit to the vendor.
Recommendation: Do NOT purchase the SonicWave 641.
This is the most frustrating case in my 30-year career.
Hello @faldo, it's best practice to obfuscate serial numbers. Would you like me to do that for you?
@faldo
I am also facing the same issue and I tested with multiple unit (641) and all unit having same issue.
What support team is telling about this issue? I was generated and analyze the logs and could not find any issue related with this problem.
The same policy applied to 200 series and 641 series and facing issue only 641. Today I will apply the same policy on 621 series.
@Ajishlal
In hindsight, knowing what I know now, I would never have chosen SonicWave 641 for mission-critical operations.
It's the WiFi support team. We've faced these issues daily for months, and the technical team's performance has been unimpressive. I'll post an update as soon as I have new insights. Today they want to collect more logs. Nightmare...
@faldo @Larry @BWC @TIJU @Saravanan @Ateef @JamsheerVP
Dears Fyi,
Tested with Sonicwave 621 AP and I am getting the same issue (Invalid Password) but the same time 200 series AP's are working fine with the same SSID policy.
I think all 600 Series having the same issue & reboot the AP is the only solution for fixing the issue.
@Ajishlal - I stopped implementing SonicWall APs for all client sites early last year and plan to replace all active devices when licenses expire. I guess that business decision let me avoid this pain.
@Larry
I wont recommend to anyone for this 600 series units anymore.
Paid a huge amount for getting this pain 😣. Yesterday I created the ticket & until now no one contacted me from the support.
@Larry @BWC @TIJU @Saravanan @Ateef @JamsheerVP
I created a new policy.
Been three days, no reboot. Not holding my breath.
@faldo
While I am doing the POC ( Sonicwave 641) as well as Sonicwave 621in production, It will work couple of days/week continuously but it will show the issue unexpectedly.
Some days rebooted twice due the invalid password issue & I am pretty sure this is not due to the policy because the same policy I do have another models (200 series) and those are working fine.
I have had an identical experience with the SonicWave 200 series remaining unaffected even though they share the same policy. I created a new policy for the 641, desperately. However, it has only been a few days, and I am not confident in my diagnosis.
The 'invalid password' issue began when I integrated a secondary SonicWall (HA). Despite reverting back to the original network topology by removing the secondary SonicWall, the password issue persists.
What network change triggered your error?
Yep. The new policy did not help. The 641 failed again tonight.
As I informed that, this is not related with any Firewall policy. Currently I am using the WNM and configured multiple zones and multiple SSID and I am facing the issue only where I am using the 600 series.
@faldo
Can I have the hotfix number which they give you for fixing the issue?
This is the latest Hot-fix number: SonicWaveAX_fw_9.6.4.7-61o-1.bin.sig
I made it available to download in the below link:

Let me know if you need the instructions.
@faldo
I got the same from Support and yesterday I applied. will update you soon the status.
Please provide feedback if the hotfix firmware has resolved your issue. Also if you could indicate for how long the SonicWave 600 has been running, that would be helpful. For reference purposes, this issue is being tracked with WSC-4641.

After the hotfix now I am facing one another weird issue. The first incident happen on 18th October and second incident happened today.
showing weird behavior that the 621 went to offline mode and not able to reach either through local interface/web interface/WCM.
Not even pinging. As well as the unit not showing any LED indication for the signals (2.4/5Ghz) but the surprising factor is end users are not affected and they are connected the SSID's and working fine.
After 5:15hours deep sleep the interface came to online automatically.
NB: Updated the case with TSR and video footage of the unit during the offline mode

After the long sleep the interface came back to online & able to access local & cloud interface.
During this offline period, End users are able to connect to the SSID's like normal no other issues reported until now.
