Hello @gussr16, Welcome to the SonicWall community. Do you mean that the traffic on this interface will be coming with a VLAN tag? If yes, you need to add a VLAN sub-interface under the physical port and then assign the VLAN ID and the corresponding IP address to it with zone set to DMZ. Could you please give more details…

Hello @MikeBMiller, Welcome to the SonicWall community. Usually, all traffic is allowed from LAN to WAN. If the specific device is unable to get to the internet, the best way to figure out would be pinging a WAN IP like 8.8.8.8 from the server and doing a packet capture on the SonicWall. Thanks!

@mrshahin, I shared that KB to show how tunnel interface VPNs need to be configured. We also support AWS integration with DonicWall now. So, you could use the following method too. Thanks!

Great. Glad it's all working now!

@Bridges37, Is the firewall responding to pings? Also, are you able to use SSH access to the firewall? Thanks!

Hello @mrshahin, I think you need to set up numbered tunnel interface VPN. Please take a look at the KB below. Kindly use the 169.254.128.64/30 and 169.254.129.68/30 addresses on the VPN tunnel interface. Thanks!

Hello @IanJ, Welcome to the SonicWall Community. Unfortunately, the site-to-site VPN, GVPN, and SSLVPN can only be made to IP addresses configured physically on the WAN interface on the firewall. There are default access rules in place that point to WAN Interface IP and creating custom rules will not help. This is by…

@mrshahin, Yes, I would suggest uploading the current firmware and then re-importing the settings file if there is an issue during the upgrade. Thanks!
-
Hello @mrshahin, I hope you are exporting the settings file that has an extension of .EXP. The local backup is saved on the SonicWall flash memory and need not be exported. Thanks!

Perfect! Glad things are working correctly now. Have a good one 😀

Hello @Tom0x00, Welcome to the SonicWall community. Since you are using Round-robin as the LB method, please make sure that the following option is turned ON. 'Use source and destination IP address binding' This makes sure that the same ISP connection is utilized for a source IP communicating to a specific destination IP.…

Hello @SWSinRI, Did you import the settings from the TZ 500 to TZ 570 or this was a new setup from scratch? Please take a look at the following KB, they list the steps to integrate the switch with the firewall. Apologize that the screenshots are for Gen 6, but the steps are the same on Gen 7 as well. Thanks!

Hello @manume, Welcome to the SonicWall community. You can visit the diag page on Gen 7 devices on link https://<IP of firewall>/sonicui/7/m/mgmt/settings/diag You will find the following options there: I will work on updating that KB so that it includes the Gen 7 related info as well. Thanks!

Hello @CarolineEburne, Welcome to the SonicWall community. I would suggest resetting the firewall and configuring it from scratch. You can use the following KBs for the same. The default X0 IP is 192.168.168.168 with username/password as admin/password. You can give this a try if that helps before resetting the firewall.…
