Hello @lemansgt, Welcome to the SonicWall community. I am guessing that the SSLVPN IP pool is kept separate from LAN or the subnet on which the database is present. You can probably set up the following NAT so that the firewall translates the IP when it communicates with the database. Original Source: SSLVPN IP pool…

Hello @dirtty, Welcome to the SonicWall community. With hardware and software updates available for the TZ 350, you should be able to get firmware updates. Remote HTTPS and SSH management are not license-dependent. Without a license, SonicWALL cannot perform security checks or take Application/website-based decisions. It…

Hello @vhduran, Unfortunately, no. The firewall should be at least on 6.5.3.1 for recognizing a SonicWAVE 231. Since NSA 2400 is a Gen 5 device, it is not going to be compatible. Thanks!

Hello @Prashant_Kulkarni, Usually, the access rules are auto-prioritized based on the granularity of the rule. Are you trying to manually set the priority? Are you getting an error while doing so? If so, please share with us the error and if not, could you please elaborate on the problem a little more. Thanks!

Hello @FOSAdmin, Welcome to the SonicWall community. We can import/export settings between certain firewall models which are listed in the KB below. Unfortunately, the settings transfer from an NSA 2600 to a TZ 500 is not supported. I would suggest using SonicOS API to copy the objects/services/policies between the two…

Hello @Rinconmike, The CGSS bundle includes the following. Please take a look at this document for more details. Thanks!

@djhurt1, At all times both the firewalls should have exactly the same IP addresses assigned on each of the interfaces. This itself is the virtual IP. This is done so that during the failover, the IP addresses remain the same. Also, the X0 interface acts as a backup HA link if the actual Control HA link fails. That is the…

Hello @djhurt1, With the monitoring IP addresses configured, the active firewall is always reachable through the IP address configured on the interface. The primary/secondary monitoring IP should always take you to the primary/secondary device respectively irrespective of their state i.e., active/standby. So, in your case,…

Hello @ParkerlauReadyspace, Welcome to the SonicWall community. I tested this on the latest firmware and could scroll through all the items. I tested this on Chrome, which browser are you using? Also, what firmware version are you on? Thanks!

Hello @Larry, I did some testing on my end and found the same problem. We worked with the Clicktools team and they provided the following link. I excluded "spf.clicktools.com" domain from Geo-IP filtering and things loaded as expected. I think this would a good way to test. Thanks!

Glad I could help. Have a good one!

Hello @frs_sonicwall, To manage the firewall, the username that you are testing with should be part of the SonicWall administrators group. If you are a part of that group, when you log in it should give you a button named 'MANAGE' along with the timeout that pops up. If that is not the case, it is a local user that cannot…

Hello @Oliver, I have not worked on PacketShaper S200 before, but based on a quick read of the datasheet I can see that it provides visibility, control, and monitoring based on applications. The BWM feature on the firewall can be used to apply bandwidth restrictions and reservations based on application signatures, domains…

Hello @mwatson, Welcome to the SonicWall community. You can go through the link below for settings up 2FA using TOTP for admin of the firewall. Thanks!

@GMP, I see a similar reported issue where the "enable dynamic botnet list" download causing CloudSyncTask to reach 100% usage. This is reported under issue ID: GEN6-2190. Do you have the "dynamic botnet list" enabled on the firewall? If yes, looks like there is a Hotfix firmware already available to take care of this…
