is this on the same pc or multiple pc's? hardwired, Wi-Fi? are the VPN users losing internet or local, both?
-
couldn't a WAN to ANY cut on double entry? I also thought by default all traffic is dropped unless a rule is created?
-
maybe turn the always on/heartbeat on each end of the tunnel, make sure handshake encryption and all the jazz is the same with SW and FN firewalls

@Arkwright are you a sonicwall rep?
-
untick logging in the log tab and see if it goes away. 🙂

what port do you have set for https on 192.168.168.168? maybe look under devices/administration/management should have the port number there.

thanks for spewing your feeling everywhere in a forum that doesn't support it; the wasted time in reading it was just great, maybe try a different VPN setup or lighten your encryption or just jump to where you think the grass is greener, clearly your not a tech that likes to be challenged and just expects everything to…

have you bought services past EOL?

packet capture open pcap in Wireshark

prtg isn't so bad for free

I would see denied support cause it's not current but doesn't mean it still won't work upgrading or downgrading.

it's sonicwalls preferably way of doing stuff but honestly for the last 8 years I just boot my config to desired firmware. either way downtime shouldn't be over a hour if you have all your ducks in a row.
-
you can always downgrade, just keep your config file.

did your ISP have a maintenance update right before the problem?, ours are known to take out one of our sites when they do there changes lol

email log automation has also stopped working since upgrading the firmware
