I came here to ask the same question… It's annoying when I get an e-mail telling me about a new release but there are no release notes available. I'm not installing anything unless it's already broken or I know why I'm doing it.

I ended up opening a support case on this, and was given a URL to a support document that I hadn't seen. The information matches what was in the Microsoft URL I was asking about. I tried it on one of the laptops, and it does appear to work.

I'm seeing that GEN6-2296 is still a known issue even in 6.5.4.12, released in April. Do we expect it to ever be fixed?

I just got notified of it today. Looks like I missed out on a few before. I was installing it as I browsed this forum, so I hope there are no issues with it. :)

Thanks. Yes, I had looked at that document previously, but we're generally not blocking outbound traffic (beyond app control, content filtering, etc., but I have those all off for the phone subnet), so there wasn't really anything there that applied. I have turned the SIP transformations back off. Our ISP is also the Webex…

Good to know, thank you! I'm glad I avoided it then. :)

I got an e-mail telling me to immediately upgrade to 10.0.13 but it's not showing as available...

Well, none of that made any difference, so I'm thinking that the firewall is probably not to blame. We're looking at the problem from other avenues now, including the exploration of moving to a different phone system.

I would have thought that disabling DPI on the access rule would do that, but I went ahead and added it as an exception to the individual services as well. Thanks. I'm waiting now to hear back on whether these changes have made any difference.

I also found that I had GAV set for outbound TCP traffic, and I have disabled that now. Same with DPI on the access rule.

Thanks. I had looked at some of those. I'm unable to separate the phone and data traffic, so I apparently can't turn off IPS for phone traffic. We were using this successfully a few years ago for a single user that was working from another state. We had no trouble at that time that he complained about. It's only now that…

Thank you. I upgraded and it seems to be working well. What SPF/DKIM issues are you referring to?
-
Thanks, I'm seeing the same. I had forgotten where to look since it's been a while since I've had to.

I actually came here to ask the same question. I'm not going to install it if I don't know the reasons for it, so release notes are really helpful. It would be even handier if the changes were also listed in the e-mail announcements.
