If someone has the same kind of issue.. We where now able to solve the issue with Sonicwall Support. The problem occured, when on the WAN Interface of the Sonicwall the DNS Server of Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 was used. After changing to a different DNS , in our example 9.9.9.10 the issue was solved and we had no additional delay…

Sonicwall Support change now the CFS Server to webcfs07 (IMHO UK) for all EMEA Sonicwalls. But for my problem, this was not the solution.

I noticed the issue on multiple Sonicwalls. Even Gen6.. IMHO they damaged something months ago with CFS signature Updates. Otherwise I have no explanation. @BWC Can you start a capture for HTTP/HTTPS with dest-IP 93.184.216.34 and then open the Webpage www.example.com ? It is important that you did not open this website in…

In the meantime Sonicwall Support responded, that this is a normal behaviour. They mean the drops. But a latency of 3 seconds and mor e per pageload of a new site, is not normal. @ALL Can technicians of Europe post what CFS get's configured in their Gen7 Sonciwalls? On that one that I've checked it was always the webcfs06…

Is there a new issue? By opening the Base URL i get: with the complete link it opens: but when I hit submit i get the same message as you got 1 month ago..

On sonicwalls you can add Vlans to an Interface by adding virtual sub-interfaces. https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/how-can-i-configure-sub-interfaces/170503889544086/

What SIEM solution do you use?

Does someone of the Sonicwall Employees here have some information?

You can simply enable One-Time-Password on selected Users and test how it works: IMHO Group Level is not possible. At least on SMA 500v. the only other option is to enable it on domain Level.

Hi Manish, By W1 and W0 you mean X1 and X0? If you want to manage the Sonicwall from the Vlan10 you have to enable the HTTPS-Management on the X0:V10 Interface. Is internet working for the devices on LAN and VLAN? Can you post some screenshots of your Firewall Rules and Configuration to better understand your situation?

+1 for this. Very annoying.

Any updates on this? Cannot understand how SonicWall can ignore this for years. 😔

I personally never user the "any" Zone - Maybe the issue is there. You could try to set the destination Zone for example to LAN (or where your natted desintations are)

When I replace a Sonicwall and migrate/recreate the configuration on a new device, I allways export the current configuration with SSH as a readable configuration. If after the migration some issue come up I can simply export the configuration of the new device as well and Text Compare with Tools lice VSCode or Notepad++…
