@LARRYSCHWENK - Yes you are right. I get logged out from the SonicWall immediately when I navigate to Zones in Classic Mode. This could be regression. Please open up a support case and have this reported to get appropriate assistance on the fix. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Hi @JOHNG, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. Do you mean using SFP/SFP+ modules and to establish connection between the TZ 470 and SonicWall switch? If yes, then could you please use ports X8 and X9 for this purpose?

Hi @LARRYSCHWENK, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. I tested this on my TZ 370 running on the same version as you mentioned. I don't see any crashing issues when navigating to OBJECT | Match Objects | Zones.

Hi @LARRYSCHWENK, L2 bridging can be done but its between only two interfaces. Lets says interface X2 is bridged in L2 mode with X0. Other interfaces like X3 or any interface cannot be bridged to X0 anymore and there will be an error thrown. But you can try this if you are planning to bridge only two interfaces in L2 mode.

Hi @DJHURT1, As mentioned in my last comment, "This is for a specific requirement where Corporate and Remote Offices on different locations share the same subnet while they are connected over Site to Site IPsec VPN". The DHCP over VPN can be used with or without local DHCP server.

Hi @BOBO511, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. I presume the issue started to happen all of a sudden after configuring the TZ 270 for the first time. You have already set the IP address on the PC to 192.168.168.x/24 with default gateway 192.168.168.168 with no luck. Using different browsers to access the TZ 270…

Hi @djhurt1, DHCP over VPN enables clients of the SonicWALL appliance to obtain IP addresses from a DHCP server at the other end of the VPN tunnel or a local DHCP server. This is for a specific requirement where Corporate and Remote Offices on different locations share the same subnet while they are connected over Site to…

Hi @JohnG, Thanks for your confirmation. Glad, I was correct. Passthrough mode may vary depending on ISP vendors. Hence verified and got the statement for passthrough from ATT. As per ATT, "IP Passthrough configuration is often times suitable for a business customer desiring to connect 3rd party equipment to AT&T supported…

Hi @JOHNG, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. From your post, in short what I understand is, you have 5 pack of static IP's from AT&T and you need help assigning these IP address on the SonicWall for Internet access. You want SonicWall to perform all DHCP requests for local LAN. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If…

Hi @YUBER_SIERRA, For Cloud based, yes the upgrade would happen automatically but only after taking your consent. I believe you would receive email from SonicWall team on the upgrade notification and indeed you get the flexibility to choose the upgrade date.

Hi @DJHURT1, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. DHCP over VPN works with "Site to Site" policy type. The below KB article should suit your requirement for DHCP across the VPN back to the hub. The purpose of the DHCP over VPN is, it enables the clients of the SonicWall appliance to obtain IP addresses from a…

Hi @DJHURT1, For a Hub and Spoke scenario, you could choose the Policy Type either to be a Site to Site VPN or Tunnel Interface. When the setup is simple and you wont add subnetworks into this VPN policy in future, I would suggest you to use Site to Site. Else if there is a requirement of adding more networks in future to…

Hi @AKROMAM90, Glad that I could answer your question. Happy to see that you are UP and running!!! Have a good one!!!

Hi @MC2012, Thank you for visiting SonicWall Community. I presume you are seeing the light status behavior after upgrading the firewall to latest official release 6.5.4.8 firmware version. What is the color of the test light? If you see a double flash, it indicates the Heartbeat exchange between the HA units. This is going…
