@Chamil Hello, For these questions I would suggest working with one of our sales team to help you. There are many data points that would need to be considered for any specific environment. Our sales team would be able to help you answer these questions and so much more.

@bitops this is your clue to the issue at hand. 554 No SMTPd here This error means that the sending IP is listed in the IP Reputation database. Thus the connection is blocked. The most likely cause for this is not following best practices such as having a PTR record for the sending IP. There can be a multitude of things…

There are a couple fixes for HES. 1 item added for on prem which is the ability to uncheck the boxes for TLS 1.3. For something like this we normally will not update the release notes.

If you had the WEB UI logs in debug it would have listed some kind of reason in there for the failure to run. In many cases it has run out of memory which is why the reboot then allows it to work.

It shouldn;t take very long to complete. If you still see it after 10 minutes log back in, reboot it manually and reapply the upgrade. Keep in mind you cannot have a renamed file, it has to be the exact name we give it when downloaded to work.

It is a backed issue. They have been informed and are looking into it. You need to do nothing on your end.

There presently wouldn't be anything you could do on email security to support this in any way. All you could do right now is disable DHA protections and allow the message to the mail sever to be…

Email Security does not do Plus Addressing. That is a feature of Exchange for mailboxes. Subaddressing is defined as a way to support dynamically created recipient (not sender) email addresses for mailboxes. Email Security looks for an exact match to the email addresses and aliases that have been read from LDAP,

No, There was an issue with Windows AD proxyaddresses being read so we pulled the build. We should have a new one with the fixes available soon.

The login page for the UI is what would also be needed to use for the Junkbox summary. However the link you use is up to you and should also be in DNS with the link for the Ui and the link for the JBS would use the same name except for the first segment. i.e. https://JBS.sonicwall.com https://emailsecurity.sonicwall.com…
