Device Management - username case sensitivty

Hi,

is anyone else using the Device Management and experienced that approved devices need to be registered again of the case of the username differs? E.g. michael vs. Michael? This would result in two different Devices, even the Device ID is identical.

SMA 500v running 10.2.

I would create a ticket if this is not already addressed.

  • This is already fixed in 10.0.0.4 or 9.0.0.7, we check WMIC net bios serial number.

    Please open a new support ticket so that I can check with engineering. since this is fixed and I did move the DTS to closed ..but we need to check on 10.2.0.1 patch.

    It's still valid for 10.2.0.1, can you please give me the DTS for the fixed issues so I can references it in my case, it was not mentioned in 9.0.7 Release Notes?

  • Duplicate Device IDs seen in Device Management, this is for 10.2.0.0 : SMA-1272.
