Use a WAN IP for a router behind a Sonicwall
Hi Everyone,
I've had a request come through from a third party to have one of the available IP addresses in a /29 pool from an ISP allocated to their router.
The current configuration is that the ISP's router is connected, feeds into X8 on an NSA 2600 which is configured with the /29 addresses. I've got X9 connected to the WAN2 port on their Draytek router and they have made the relevant configuration to have their Draytek accessible as x.x.x.4 where the WAN IP address of the Sonicwall is x.x.x.3.
I'm currently struggling to work out what I would need to configure on the sonicwall to get the Draytek on x.x.x.4 visible on the WAN IP that's allocated.
Any help with the configuration would be appreciated.

Thanks for that @shiprasahu93
I managed to get it configured using a normal bridge but it would appear that the third party's configuration on their hardware needed to change in order for their hardware to be able to access the gateway.
Thank you once again for all your help!

@ABlockerLemming,
If X8 is the primary WAN connection, they you can use X2 as DMZ and configure it in transparent mode.
The KB gives more detail on the same. You can have x.x.x.4 was the DMZ transparent range.

I've just gone through and followed those instructions.
I'm assuming that the address object required would be set to "Host" and include the WAN address that the router on the internal network would be attempting to access or would that then need to look at the WAN address in the address object as it's gateway?
The host should be configured with the address you want to configure on the router. On the router itself, you can configure that address and use the WAN IP as the gateway or the X8 default gateway itself as the gateway on that router.
Thanks!
