change settings when add new access rules

Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to change the default settings when you add an access rule?


Currently there are 2 checks enabled by default:

  • Enable Logging
  • Allow Fragmented Packets

Where in the GUI can we change this?

I thought I have read this somewhere but can not find it anymore.

    I do not believe there is a way to globally disable those options for all new access rules. You'd have to change it on the rules individually.

    Navigate to Firewall | Policies | Access Rules (SonicOS Standard and Enhanced).

    Hello @arjanlugtenberg - These defaults are really good choices and that is why they are on by default and cannot be globally disabled. You can change them on each access rule.
