Sonicwall TZ400 and Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro

The previous staff person that did IT purchased a UDM Pro. His plan was to remove the Sonicwall and use the UDM Pro as the firewall and the network controller. I am leaning towards keeping the Sonicwall set up if I can get the UDM Pro set up to do everything else.
Ideally, I would want the Sonicwall to be the firewall only and have the UDM Pro handle the DHCP, Wifi, Security Cameras, VLANs within the network, Guest Access, etc. I just think that the Sonicwall probably has more to offer in terms of the firewall, but I do not know how to set it to allow for this to work.
I am new to the controller-side of IT, so working on getting this figured out and set up.

You didn't really ask a question.
The Sonicwall firewall is a enterprise class firewall and UTM. While Ubiquiti has business-class features, it's missing many of capabilities that would make it enterprise. I consider Ubiquiti's more of a high end consumer product.
That said IMO, keep the Sonicwall in production and learn it. Test the Ubiquiti outside of production and see if it compares.
Thanks for the link. I have researched, but was not finding much. And I agree with you that the UDM Pro seems to be more high-end consumer versus enterprise, hence trying to figure out how to keep the Sonicwall in place.
The link helps with keeping Sonicwall as firewall and issuing DHCP, then the UDM Pro would be the controller for the switches, which I am fine with, but was not sure of best setup for it.
