Hi @Camanni From your description, it looks like Idle Timeout is set on the VPN server. Is the length of time before the VPN closes consistent?
-
@Micah and @moshem I would recommend this is examined in a support case so the cause can be determined and resolved.
-
Hi @moshem, 9.0.0.5-19sv is several maintenance releases behind. I'd suggest you do the upgrade to the current maintenance release. If you see this issue after that upgrade please open a support case to have this investigated.

@Juan_Patrol310 that hardware went past all support on November 1, 2019. The comparable system today would be an SMA 400. There is nothing I can do to make the new client work correctly with this old system. However, it is possible there is still some sales program where you could upgrade to supported hardware. You might…

Hi @Juan_Patrol310 , What hardware is this running on? SRA 1200/1600/4200/4600 or SRA SMB Virtual All of the SSL-VPN hardware platforms, supporting this firmware, are obsolete and no longer supported. The 8.0.0.3-23sv version virtual appliance is likewise not supported. But if you have a support contract, you should be…

Hi @ThomasH , The SMA 500v definitely supports LDAP. You configure the authentication server in SMA 500v by adding a domain. You are correct that there is a deficiency in the Admin Guide that is omits the section on configuring an LDAP domain. I will see if I can get that corrected. The 10.2 Admin Guide is in formal review…

Hi @ljohnson055, What he is talking about is a feature of the SMA called Always On VPN (AOV). This is a configuration made on the SMA that sets the Netextender client to prevent the user disconnecting from the VPN. The configuration is done on the domain. AOV is covered starting with page 13 of the Admin Guide. The guide…

Hi @shultis This will require reviewing some logs and a deeper analysis than we can do on this forum. Please open a support case. ........Michael

Hi @TAC , You don't mention what model of SMA you have. If it is one of the SMA 100 series, here is a KB to answer your question. If it is not SMA 100 series reply with the model. ........Michael

Hi @eol_sonicwall the KB article you reference is for a firewall not an SMA. Try this one:
-
Ah, @damien92 I should read the header better. I will ask a firewall person to step in. @shiprasahu93 Can you either answer this question related to a firewall or ping someone you know who might? Please.
-
Hi @damien92, The version of Netextender pushed by the virtual office depends on the firmware loaded on the SMA, or in this case SRA. 7.5 Netextender is very old and not supported by any newer SMA firmware. What model SMA and what firmware version are you running? 7.5 Netextender dates from 2014, firmware 7.5.0.15-35sv. If…

Hi @Darshil To the best of my knowledge the only ways to prevent the user changing the server FQDN are Always On VPN and Device VPN. Device VPN brings up the VPN tunnel as a part of the PC booting. Always on VPN brings up the tunnel as the client is logs into the PC. Neither can be disabled nor disconnected by the user.
-
Hi @Darshil l Your users should be connecting with Connect Tunnel. I am not sure what you mean by ' system network adapter '. Connect Tunnel is our client. We support connect Tunnel, Sonicwall Mobile Connect (with limited EPC), and web browser (EPC depending on the browser, SEM installation, and other settings in the SMA).…
-
@Darshil Please clarify. You mention Connect Tunnel so this is SMA 1000. Are you wanting to limit the users to accessing one and only one FQDN - i.e. one SMA? Or are you really concerned with controlling access to different FQDNs serviced by the one SMA?
