Well, that did not last. It just rebooted. I was logged into GUI. I will see if staying out of GUI changes anything.

Still on 5018. Well no reboots over night. Two things. I turned off packet packet capture under "Monitor / Tools & Monitors / Packet Monitor" I was not logged into the GUI. So it has been up with no reboot for 13.5 hours. I am not sure of these helped or just it did not reboot.

@preston After deleting the common names, I added both acronsi.com .acronis.com and these items are showing up as failures. Same as before. cloud-fes-au1.acronis.com:44445 cloud-fes-eu1.acronis.com:44445 cloud-fes-eu2.acronis.com:44445 cloud-fes-jp2.acronis.com:44445 cloud-fes-us2.acronis.com:44445 I thought if I add the…

Can anyone help with downgrading the firmware. Support sent me this article but then said it is best to factory default and import the EXP file I exported before firmware update which is option 3 opposed to using option 1 or 2. However, this article has three methods and is for Gen 6 Method 1: Boot from Local Backup…

Just had another random reboot.

I spent a couple hours on the phone with support. He did not see any issue in the TSR. We did a few manual reboots to test why I was not getting emails after a reboot that the interface was up or down. To fix under Log Settings, Network, Interfaces, items 565 & 566 Multi-Interface Link Up although it is set to Alert under…

This was answered here: by @preston go in via SSH, put them in speech marks as below, you should be able to delete them then conf dpi-ssl client (config-client-dpi-ssl)# no common-name "cloud-fes-us2.acronis.com:44445" (config-client-dpi-ssl)# no common-name "cloud-fes-eu1.acronis.com:44445" exit commit F.Y.I. you don't…

I enabled SSH in the interface. Followed the steps with Putty and it worked. Thank you. 2 months with Sonicwall Support and nothing!!

can you help on how I enable the SSH terminal?

I tjust rebooted again. Garbage!! Can I downgrade or reboot to the backup firmware from before upgrading?
-
thanks. I am not sure how to do that. All I did was click Exclude from the Common Name Failure List. I did not think the system would add something the wrong way!. I learned not to do that anymore

I added these around 6/1. Probably was on 7.0.1-R1262. Support supposedly tried using my EXP and have the same issue on deleting. I asked them to try different firmware. Not sure of they did. I am even ok to default the common name list but that is not an option. I do not want to default the entire device. That would suck!

It is a bug of how they were added. If I manually add the item by clicking Add you can add and delete. However, these were added by clicking show connection failure, these are listed, click on the box to select, the click exclude. Once these were added, no way to delete. Now that they are there, if I manually add one, it…

I updated to SonicOS 7.0.1-5018 Shows the same. Also, I still have the issue where I cannot delete certain Custom Common Names I noted in another post. No real responses from Sonicwall on any of my cases. Just waiting to hear back from the back end team or engineering.
