Please let us know which firewall model are you using.
Total bandwidth is depend on the model also, For example if you are using SOHO, you wont even get 100Mbps throughput after enabled the security services.

What device model are you using? Are you getting 500 Mbps when you bypass the firewall?

Thanks for the quick response.
Its entry level SOHO Firewall. Yes, when connected directly from ISP to my Laptop/system through switch, we are getting the required throughput of upto 500 Mbps.
Almost all the steps given in KB, is there in place.
Suggest if there is bandwidth limitation on the firewall.
also is there any option in firewall, where we can check the throughput
Thanks, for the info, since on site its says that it support 300 Mbps, so expecting more than 100 Mbps.
My security services is enabled with 2 functions only.

If you are getting 100Mbps in SOHO, that is the maximum.
Better to upgrade your hardware with Gen 6 or Gen7 if you need to utilize your 500Mbps connection.

Just out of curosity, but why had they given GigE port ? whats the use of that ?
