Windows Update 2004 kills NetExtender
I have more than one user who has installed Windows Feature Update 2004 and now cannot connect to my SonicWall SSL-VPN via NetExtender. When they try, it connects and then immediately disconnects, and reports "The Windows Remote Access Service (RAS) has encountered an error. Rebooting your Window [sic] PC may resolve this issue."
Rebooting does not resolve it. Neither does uninstalling and reinstalling NetExtender 8.6.265, or restarting the services, or upgrading to 10.2.0.300. Nothing works.
Any help here?

Hi @SteveThornton,
For resolving The Windows Remote Access Service (RAS) has encountered an error problem, Please follow the below step;
Navigate to Windows Device Manager --> Network Adaptores and uninstall the WAN Miniport (IP) and WAN Miniport (PPTP) devices, then scan for the hardware changes. Once it done the hardware changes try to use the NetExtender.
