Wireshark malformed packets from monitor pcapng export

Hello,
Anyone else bothered by an extra byte in pcapng capture files causing wireshark to report malformed packets?
So far not seeing any pattern in this nor sure where it began, w/certain version sonicos or wireshark.
Investigating editcap for a temporary relive.

Is this connection subject to DPI-SSL?
No, not that am aware of and both udp and tcp.
