- Firewall model, which defines the CPU power, memory etc.
- How the firewall is configured and the services running on the firewall
Additionally, it is important to note that any misconfiguration or unnecessary feature that is configured or enabled can waste CPU resources, potentially impacting overall throughput. For example, leaving the Packet Monitor running without a specific purpose will consume CPU power. Similarly, changing the logging level to debug will also unnecessarily utilize the CPU.
Moreover, it is crucial to consider how you are measuring throughput. If you are using the well-known public websites for measurement, at least please ensure the following:
- Before the test, the firewall CPU utilization should be ideally below 5%
- During the test, all the cores should max out to 100%
There are many other factors, such as packet size and protocol type, that contribute to the complexity of this topic.

Hello, I did the tests and it looked like this;
I checked the features cited and they are disabled.
Could it be that the fact that it doesn't exceed 50% is the limitation?

Verifiquei os recursos citados e eles estão desativados.
Percebi também que ate num simples teste de velocidade, um núcleo fica cravado em 100% e os ms sobe drasticamente.

You won't be able to get too much of throughput from your TZ300. If you are using Real-Time Data Collection feature and/or AppFlow to Local Collector and if you disable those, you might get a little more throughput.
