I have a client looking to swap their SonicWall Tz firewall
They currently have a Tz370 with WAN connection speed of 1Gb. This company is only getting 900Mb download and they are looking to upgrade the WAN to at least 2Gb speed. They are looking to get a NSA 2700 but they will only get it if it will support the faster WAN connection speed. I see the ports are all 1Gb. Is it possible to use a SFP+ port with a 10Gb module for the primary WAN connection and will they then get faster than the 1Gb?

"Only" 900Mbps? You will only ever get 940Mbps TCP/IP throughput with 1Gbps ethernet anyway, so they're not missing out on much.
Yes, you can use the SFP+ interfaces for LAN, WAN or whatever you choose.

Yes you will get whatever your ISP gives you. However the LAN ports will still be 1 Gbit so you would need to portchannel/LAG the LAN side and even with that you may not see over 1Gbit per speed test. You could have 2 PCs doing speed-tests together and see 900ish on each however.

If I plug in a 10Gb module into the SFP+ port will I be able to use for the Pri WAN and be able to get 2Gb+?
Yes, you can use the SFP+ interfaces for LAN, WAN or whatever you choose. Actual throughput you will get depends on many variables and is difficult to predict. I think we can say that NSA2700 will be faster than TZ370.
