SMA 100 Series: 10.2.1.7-50sv vs. 10.2.1.7-49sv whats the difference?

Hi,
SNWL, always able to amaze and cause confusion. Does anybody knows what is different in the newly released Firmware 10.2.1.7-50sv for SMA 100 Series compared to the same version with a different build number which is still available 10.2.1.7-49sv?
Release Notes are the same. Does it fix something important (maybe OpenSSL upgrade etc.).
It would be really helpful to have this information, to decide if severity of changes needs a quick deployment.

Agreed. Odd that they link to the exact same release notes .pdf:

Hello
Please refer to this KB for more information.
https://www.sonicwall.com/support/product-notification/sma-100-series-openssl-library-update-in-10-2-1-7/230228123000903/
The main difference between SMA Version 10.2.1.7-49sv -> 10.2.1.7-50sv is the fix for false positives and additional security enhancements in this patch.
Version-10.2.1.7-49 is base image with security enhancements and openssl fixes
Version 10.2.1.7-50sv has additional security enhancements along with fixes for false positives.
Please apply this patch, and if you encounter any problems, please open a case with the most recent TSR.

@Vijay_Kumar_KV thanks for the information, the KB article does not hold any information about -50sv but I guess I'll stick with the vague "has additional security enhancements along with fixes for false positives." .

Welcome Michael!
We have updated the KB today, it will show up with the build number 50sv later today.

Still waiting on the "updated KB" - not seen any change
thanks
@stevmorr just ignore the KB, -49sv got pulled so the Release Notes for -50sv are current and we just pretend there was never a -49sv.

thanks for the info. We are actually running -49sv in production but it shows as up to date on My Sonicwall (despite -50sv being available). I will just wait till the next update unless there is a compelling reason to move to -50sv.
thanks
