ii have a Tz570 where X0 is the LAN and X3 is also the lan zone. I want to ping devices from x0 to devices that are on x3 but i keep getting RTO. where can I look or verify the config
@Ron_DDC , make sure the Access Rule (Allow) for LAN to LAN is in place.
what is the service for the allow rule? Will this also allow the computers on the 25 subnet to ping their gateway 25.1?
Also, can you point me in the correct direction for how to create ACL rules and NAT rules?
Hi @Ron_DDC , the following KB article should help you understand how to create Access Rules.
I see about the Deny rule but I cant figure out how to open up all devices on a zone called M_Wif to LAN and ip address of 192.168.168.10
The Source is x3 and the LAN is on x0
In other words I have devices 192.168.50.x on x3 on a zone that I called M_WIF and I have a printer 192.168.20.20 on the LAN zone.
I want to allow devices from M_WIF to be able to print and ping the printer 192.168.20.20
Please help.
You need create an Access Rule with Allow.
Source:
Zone/Interface: M_WIF
Address: Address Object for 192.168.50.0/24, type network
Port/Services: "any"
Destination:
Zone/Interface: LAN
Address: Address Object for 192.168.20.20, type Host
Port/Services: "any" or you can narrow down to the ports used for printing.
I set up as instructed and opened a ping to the printer and still getting a request timed out :(
