Consult Archiving

We need to activate "archiving", but we want to know what it can cause us.

We have our Email security installed on a virtual machine, with 190gb storage.

Do you recommend activating archiving for 30 days?

You can add drive space but not while running.

You have to shut it down, add the drive space and boot it back up.

It will provision the space allocated as it boots up.

I would go ahead and enable it with 190 GB of Storage. While enabling we need to consider the 'No. of emails' received/sent and their size.

If you think you have a huge mail flow, go ahead and enable it for 7 days and monitor. If all good, increase it to 14 days and then to 30 days.

we were thinking of enlarging the storage.

We have Email Security installed in VMware EXCi, can the space be increased? with the server running?
