Tech Tip: Using Advanced Search on the Community

Advanced Search adds robust options to native search to help you hunt down specific content within the community. Including:

• Better indexing of content
• The ability to apply filters to searches
• Auto-complete of results as the user types the search terms

Clicking the arrow on the right side of the search bar will show you all the extra parameters you have available for search:

• Search Term
• Search by Title
• Search By Author
• Search by Category
• Search by Tag
• Search by Post Type
• Search by Time Period

Hi @Chris

while searching for a topic in the Community I wondered why it does not show results. I totally overlooked the arrow. Maybe you should make the information above somehow sticky in the Water Cooler that new users (or old users not looking for arrows) get an idea how to search in a better way.
