I wanna know, can i configure access rule or app rule to Schedule microsoft windows updates in TZ350.
Hi @Prabath ,
You can via App Rules Block Windows Updates with a Schedule attached to it.
What this will do is prevent Windows Updates from being pulled down but does not guarantee that the Windows Updates will execute during the non-blocked time frame.
What I would suggest is you actually create an App Rule that puts a Bandwidth limit on the Windows Update traffic to like 1 kbps and then when it is outside of the scheduled time it will be able to utilize all of the Bandwidth to download the updates, and therefore would be guaranteed that the updates would get downloaded.
If you would like an example of this App Rule, just like me know and I can add in some screenshots.
Let me get some of our TZ series experts to take a look at this for you. Keep an eye out for a response.

@Chris Sure! Thank You.
I recommend using App rules! You save time in creating objects and cpu to resolve fqdn object names. Not to mention that it is more efficient, because Microsoft constantly changes or adds new ip to its services.
