Problem with Directory Connector Configuration tool

For anyone using the Sonicwall Directory Connector Configuration Tool as part of a SSO agent configuration for user authentication, there is now a problem.

The Directory Connector Configuration tool "REQUIRES" that IE be available and NOT IN ENHANCED security mode.

Of course I believe we all know that IE is deprecated and should not be used for anything. The December 2024 Server update (Windows Server 2019) forced the IE configuration into ENHANCED SECURITY MODE which breaks and prevents the Sonicwall Directory Connector Configuration tool from opening.

NOTE: This did not affect the Directory Connector service in any way. Only the configuration tool
