Hello,

We are thinking using an IPS sever instead of SonicWALL 5600 Gateway AV/Anti-Spyware/Intrusion Prevention/App Control/App Visualization licenses for security services but have some questions:

  1. Do all security services require licenses on SonicWALL? For example, IP spoof Detection, Port scanning attacks.

2. I am wondering what will happen after the licenses are expired. Do we still get those logs?

I read about the documentation below but could not find the answers. So I am here asking helps. Thanks in advance!

    I can't give you an exhaustive list but spoof detection and port scanning are not licensed features.

    Once the license expires, the events are no longer logged.
