Using NSA2650 as part switch part firewall?

Hi All

I have a section of network that is isolated to serve SIP traffic from virtual SBCs and physical SBCs. Current I have a single switch in between the multible network connections from SBCs to an HA pair of Sonicwalls - all the connections are in the same subnet. I am wondering if is there a possible way to take the switch away and configure the firewalls as switches to remove single point of failure ?

Any suggestions gratefully received

Thanks

If it was standalone you could use Portshield [=use switch chip in firewall as a switch] and plug everything in to it. But Portshield mode is disabled in HA mode. I think there is a /diag.html option to enable portshield in HA mode, but it's at your own risk.
