2 WAN interfaces with IPs on the same subnet

Have a questions regarding the second WAN port settings on my Sonicwall Tz270

Trying to setup the second interface as a WN port for the External IP in the same subnet as the first WAN interface and have the Error Message:
"…Subnet on this interface overlaps with another interface…"

Is it any solution to use 2 external IP on the same subnet fort the 2 WAN interfaces?

Thanks.

    The short answer is "no".

Why do you need two physical interfaces in the same network? Is this for redundancy?

I don't think PortShield works for WAN interfaces but there are some other modes.

L2 bridge mode might work, but I suggest you test it to make sure behaves in the way you're expecting.

Don't really understand :-) but will try to figure out it.
I have 2 VPN channels and guess in this scenario I have to make a lot of adjustment compared with the regular failover WAN port .
In any case thanks for answering :-)
