NetExtender Won't Install - Rolls back 2/3 of way in?

I have a fully patched Windows 11 Pro Lenovo Laptop and NetExtender will NOT install.

Tried with the version I had downloaded (x64-10.2.337), install gets 70% of the way through, hangs, rolls back, says the install was interrupted before completing and a reboot will be required before trying again.

Tried:

  1. Rebooting and trying again - no joy.
  2. Making the account an admin account, rebooting, trying again - no joy.
  3. Uninstalling Datto workplace (thought there might be a conflict), rebooting, trying again - no joy,
  4. Turning off Windows firewall, rebooting, trying again - no joy.
  5. Uninstalling the Sophos endpoint, rebooting, trying again - no joy.
  6. Making the Orbi wifi network "private" instead of "public," rebooting, trying again - no joy.
  7. Downloading the newest VPN (10.2.337), trying again, no joy.

Same thing, over and over - install kicks off… gets to about 70%… hangs for 2-3 minutes… then says, "Rolling back" - rolls back for 3-4 minutes - then says the installation was interrupted and I'll need to reboot before trying again.

Any ideas?
