SonicOS 7 Firmware upgrade for HA pair

I saw an article for upgrading firmware for HA pair (link: https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/how-can-i-upgrade-firmware-on-a-high-availability-hardware-failover-pair/170503560370911/ ), but the article only mention resolution for SonicOS 6.5 and SonicOS 6.2, SonicOS 7 is not mentioned. Another article for upgrading firmware that mentions resolution for SonicOS 7 (link: https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/how-can-i-upgrade-sonicos-firmware/170504337655458/ ) does not include upgrading for an HA pair.

Would a pop-up about both Primary and Secondary be affected appear when I try to upload the firmware and boot the uploaded firmware? Would Primary or Secondary has their firmware upgraded first?

upgrading the HA pair on gen7 is the same as it is on previous versions, as long as you are on one of the latest versions of firmware for gen 7 as there was a bug where it logged you out of the active device when selecting upgrade firmware but this has been fixed in later versions.

you login to the firewall using the lan IP (not the monitor IP) upload the firmware, this then uploads the firmware to both firewalls simultaneously.

when you select boot with uploaded firmware with current settings it then upgrades the idle appliance first and when this is complete it will then failover to be the active appliance and the other device will upgrade.

the only difference between 7.0 & 7.1 is that you can automatically download the firmware to the appliance and upgrade the firmware at a scheduled time.
