SSL VPN on a FW in transparent mode

I have a FW running on DHCP on the inside and managed to get the SSL VPN working. In another FW which is on a transparent mode with all public IP addresses on the inside, the SSLVPN is not working. I have configured it similar to the DHCP mode except that under the SSLVPN Client settings, i have put in place a fixed IP address within my internal mode that is available. Not sure what i have done wrong and I can't seem to find any literature on SSL VPN configuration in this transparent mode. Any advice will be most appreciated. Thanks
