MS Remote assistance not working across zones on my NSA 4700

Hi All,

I'd like to use Microsoft's Remote assistance feature to remote control users computers. My desktop is on a different zone compared to most of the people I would be assisting.

It works if both computers are on the LAN. But it doesn't connect if say my computer is on the LAN, and the computer I'm trying to assist is on the Employee VLAN/Zone on the firewall.

It's not a matter of opening the correct ports because for testing, I'm using ANY/ANY ports.

Also, this is a working VLAN. Users on the employee VLAN are using lots of services on the LAN. Printing, DNS, file server, app servers, Terminal services….etc.

Can anyone think of a reason Remote assistance wont?

    Remote assistance use 3389 tcp and dup port. be sure this port opened all intrazone.
