Is there a way to prevent pending logins from taking up VPN connections?
We are reaching our VPN connection limit due to unknown users trying to connect to our VPN. The status for these unknown users say "login pending", which makes me think they haven't connected successfully.
Is there a way to prevent unknown users from connecting and taking up the VPN connection limit?

Everybody who has a sonicwall is having a problem right now with the current SSLVPN spray attacks happening into the US. Why SonicWall has the license manager chew up a license before a successful login is absolutely insane . A license should only be used after a successful login ..
1) workarounds https://www.sonicwall.com/support/knowledge-base/240325115738957
2) firmware hot fix file- open a case and call them to get access to this
Hope this helps someone having the same issue
For what it's worth, we are also experiencing this spray attack, as I noted in my post (

I was forced to change the SSL VPN port.
Exactly the same issue, how they bypass the domain i don't know…I've changed the domain a bunch of times to see if they would be able to pick it, and they picked it all the times.
Changing the port is an option, but…its easy to get the new open port.
