starlink vpn access

I have had starlink for a few years now. I work from home a lot and use netextender a lot. It is usable but not consistent. Is there anything I can do to help this? It is certainly starlink related as I have a second location which is cable and works just fine. It seems like there is a delay - but not all the time. sometimes things take seconds or multiple seconds for clicks or mouse overs to show.

This is netextender → then remote desktop.

any thoughts? It is usable but can be quite annoying. I know quite a few people that are using starlink for gaming and it works great. Other than remote access over netextender - I would never know I was on satellite.. (it really has been a game changer for me)
