Blank popup mobile connect macOS

Hi. I am trying to help a user setting up vpn on his new mac book pro. Everything went well but after he entered the 2fa code from the authenticator app, he got a blank small popup and then around a min later, it said request time out. I disabled 2fa and had him tried again but the issue was still persist. Does anyone has any idea on how to fix this? Thank you.
