how to disable VLANs (not the interface) temporarily
How can i disable vlans on a interface without disabling the interface? I have a couple of VLANs which were here before i ever started, as part of clean up I would like to find out if some of these vlans are still needed. i can see small amounts of data rx/tx but that could be just something broadcasting or beaconing, I need to disable the vlan temporarily until either someone complains something is not working or we dont hear from anyone for over a month or so, then i can delete them.. I just need a temp solution , dont want to delete just in case we find out that it is indeed used. but want to disable only.

AFAIK you can't disable a virtual interface. Disable the Access Rules that control access to / from those VLANs and see who complains.
