SonicWall TZ470 freezes shortly after a Firmware update is available
Our office TZ470 has often completely stops processing traffic, management and entire appliance freezes shortly after each new Firmware release when we are on the prior release. Sometimes it takes days or weeks but it is definitely a pattern. We have to unplug the appliance to power cycle it when this happens.
I typically stay on top of Maintenance and General releases because of this. The recent feature Update - 7.1.1-400 wasn't applied right away as the documentation didn't state anything of urgency. Alas, it froze shortly after the release of 7.1.1 when were on 7.0.1-5145.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips?
