Right Log parameters for monitoring sftp connexions

Hi team !

It's always a pleasure to have to ask for your help; today I'm having a problem setting up my logs correctly to trace an SFTP connection.

I have a remote user on a sonicwall who can't connect to a server using sftp. On my end it works (I'm also remote), but I can't see our public ip addresses in the logs to try to debug the problem

thanks for help

i'm under SonicOS 7.0

Try a packet capture. The buffer is limited in size, so it's best to fill in as much as you can in the filtering to restrict the quantity of traffic captured. If you still get too much but cannot find what you are looking for, then try ticking "Dropped Packets Only".
