Replacing a NSA 2600 with a TZ-670
@pendek244 it's always a pleasure to see when a titlle of a thread is longer than the message body.
You might update the NSA 2600 to 220.127.116.11 first, can't say for sure if it's necessary, but it can't hurt either.
Hello @pendek244 ,
It is suggested to upgrade the GEN6 NSa 2600 to the 18.104.22.168 firmware and then use the settings file based on this firmware.
Currently, The migration tool doesn't support a migration from the NSA 2600 to the TZ 670.
I suggest that you make contact with Sonicwall Support and we can try to help in getting you a copy of the settings for the GEN7 TZ 670.
Please DM if you have Issues. Thank You.
@pendek244 sorry for the misleading answer, I totally ignored the artificial limitation (for no reason) to upgrade a NSA 2600 to TZ 670, which is IMHO a great upgrade path.
then migrating any model to any model is possible. If something can't be done, then advise the user ["the following items were skipped: BGP"] and if a specific model-model transition has not been tested by Sonicwall, advise the user.
