Issues with SMA 8200V in azure and

We are deploying a SMA 8200V in azure using routed ip allocation(static) as recommended by the getting started guide but the routing to an external firewall seems to be only 1 way if it works at all. Has anyone else successfully deployed an 8200v to azure?
