First and foremost I am not a SonicWall expert but I do know enough about the product line to where I am comfortable in recommending it to my clients. That said; I have a client who is undergoing a PCI audit and needs to increase the complexity of the shared secret within their firewall. Can someone share with me a step by step procedure in executing this procedure? I think I will also need to upgrade the VPN client once the new key is created. My client is a one person shop and cannot afford to have a business interruption so the instructions need to be detailed to avoid any errors. Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Assume you're talking about Global VPN Client here. Second screenshot.
As soon as you change it on the firewall it will need changing on the client too.
