Can anyone please help me to block TikTok? I'm not tech savvy

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my 11 year old being addicted to TikTok. I never wanted him to discover this site, even blocked it on Hosts, but it seems some online buddies sent him a link that was somehow able to bypass my block. Or maybe he did something to unblock it. And now no matter what I try on Hosts I can't block it back. I'm a few hours away from hiring someone to do it but it would be great if someone could give me some pointers. Thanks for reading.

ps my modem cannot be accessed because the internet company has a block where users can't enter the modem. So that's sadly out of the question unless I switch companies.

If you are using SonicWall Firewall, You can use the app control to prevent the TikTok usage.
