My sister company has a TZ 215. I have a TZ 600 with a VPN set up. They need to VPN in into my network. I've sent them the global client software and the rcf file. However, they can't connect. The global client gives an error of "The peer is not responding to phase 1 ISAKMP requests. If they bypass the sonicwall and go straight through their modem then they have no problem. Are there some ports that need to be opened? Can anyone help??

@lrollins1206 you have two options I can think of.

1. Disable WAN Group VPN on the TZ 215, so that GVC can be utilized behind the TZ 215.
2. Build a site to site VPN connection between TZ 215 and TZ 600. And this will eliminate the need for GVC utilization.

1. I've tried this but it still doesn't work.

I am sorry I cannot answer your question, but have a comment and a question of my own.

The TZ215 went out of service (end of life) two and a half years ago - August 2020. How is it no one has replaced this with a currently supported model?

You can use the following KB articles to build site to site VPN between the two SonicWall firewalls. You need to review the steps for SonicOS 6.5 section for your TZ 600. Your TZ 215 is an end of life product as of August 2020. The TZ 215 firewalls runs on 5.x firmware which the user interface is slightly different, but you should be able to navigate by looking at the screen captures for 6.5 on the KB.
