To answer the subject line, yes it is. OS 7.x has some very terrible warning and error messages, as you can see are often incomplete. Start with firmware: if you aren't on the latest version, do an upgrade and try again.
The only way this particular error message is going to be fixed is if you open a Support Case and document the steps you took leading up to it, and include the screenshot.
It may - or may - not be pursued as a problem by the support team. If it does not, then your next step would be to contact your sales team (or your local SonicWall rep) and ask them to create a Request for Enhancement (RFE).
Sorry to see that after a few years, these missing pieces still show up.
