How to test SMTP, SNMP and Syslog

Hi Community.

I am looking for a way to test SMTP, SNMP and Syslog as a confirmation of my notification settings. Is there a function in SonicWall to verify that these settings are correct? If not, I would appreciate if you could tell me how to generate a simple alert.

Best regards.

Thank you for sharing your testing tool.
Is there any testing functionality on the SonicWall side? Or is there an easy way to generate alerts?

You can generate traffic with nessus scanner. You can set nessus scan task for sonicwall ip and sonicwall will create log, SNMP or SMTP events.
