SonicWall Email Security 10.0.6 Virtual appliance for VMware

The default console credentials of admin and password do not work. I'm trying to log onto the console to configure the network setting using the 'open console' from vCenter. I can't log into the web interface until the network configuration has been completed.

Any info on how to login into the console would be appreciated.

Hi @MIKEBA,

I don't recall it exactly, but I believe you have to use the pre-login snwlcli first, then you can log in with admin/password.

Keep forgetting stuff, I'am getting old :)

I could not find a guide specific to 10.0.6. Here is the Getting started guide for ES 9.2. You can go to the 'Configuring Host Settings on the Console' section and that should answer everything you need.

Can you please change the auto-loign username as shown below.

-Once changed the Auto-login username then try to SSH to the device.

If the issue still persists, please share the screenshot of the error.
